The Golden Sands Hotels – De-escalation & Active Shooter Training is an interactive e-learning module designed to equip hotel employees with essential skills to handle escalating situations and respond to active shooter events. Targeted at all staff members across various hotel departments, this 30-minute training emphasizes situational awareness, de-escalation techniques, and the Run, Hide, Fight protocol recommended by security experts. Through engaging workplace scenarios, knowledge checks, and interactive elements, learners gain practical insights into identifying signs of escalation, applying de-escalation strategies, and making critical decisions in high-risk situations. This course ensures that employees feel prepared, fostering a safer and more secure environment for both staff and guests.

Dieffenbachia Care and Propagation

The Dieffenbachia Care & Propagation training is a 20-minute e-learning course designed for plant nursery employees at Whispering Greens of North Texas. This training equips employees with the knowledge and confidence to educate customers on the proper care, maintenance, and propagation of four Dieffenbachia varieties. Through interactive, scenario-based learning, employees will learn to identify different plant types, address common care concerns, and explain key propagation techniques. The course, developed in Articulate Rise, includes knowledge checks, real-world scenarios, and a final assessment to ensure employees can apply their learning effectively in customer interactions, ultimately improving customer satisfaction and increasing sales.

This microlearning module teaches users how to build an interactive checklist using Google Sheets or Excel. Learners add checkboxes, apply conditional formatting for instant feedback, calculate completion rates, and create a visual progress bar. Built using TechSmith Camtasia to ensure a polished, engaging learner experience. The storyboard details the course’s instructional design, visual design, and voiceover scripts, ensuring an immersive learning experience.
